Borzalino Seating for the Dubai Chambers Refurbishment in Dubai
Dubai Chambers, the body that represents the city's business community, refurbished its majlis lounges, executive salons and meeting rooms overlooking the skyline in 2025. Nakkash Design Studio led the interiors and chose Borzalino, its long-standing Tuscan partner, for the upholstered seating and coffee tables of the representative areas.
The scheme alternates sharp architectural lines with softer, open silhouettes. Brushed bronze details are paired with the natural veining of Calacatta marble on the B180, B181, Paul 2 and Paul 3 coffee tables and the B161 low table. Sidney and Eve Plus armchairs are upholstered in Sequoia leather, a soft nubuck selected in several natural shades; the Ben sofas were made in a custom version with a 57 cm seat depth for long working sessions.
For architects and FF&E consultants specifying Italian furniture for contract projects in the Gulf, Dubai Chambers shows Borzalino's standard collection and custom variants working together in an institutional setting, with finishes chosen to match the stone and metal of the architecture.
