Borzalino Diva and Eve Plus Armchairs for Kobeya Cafe in Dubai
Kobeya is a healthy-food cafe and retail store in central Dubai, designed in 2019 by Nakkash Gallery. The interior uses a fresh palette, mint-green ribbed walls, pale floors, timber lockers and indoor plants, to match the brand's wellness message and make the shop feel like a light, open room rather than a fast-food counter.
Borzalino supplied the seating from its standard collection: Diva and Eve Plus armchairs upholstered in pale pink fabric, arranged in pairs along the walls and around small round tables, with a white Eve Plus at the table under the olive tree. The rounded shells of both models give each seat a defined, enclosing shape that works with the soft colours and the ribbed panelling.
For cafe owners and designers choosing Italian armchairs for contract projects, Kobeya shows two collection pieces carrying a whole seating scheme, in a small footprint, with fabric colours selected to match the brand.
