Bedroom Furniture for Hilltop House, a Panoramic Villa in Manila
Hilltop House is a panoramic villa on the hills above Metro Manila, Philippines, designed by Moda Interni with the studio Casa Licup around the view of the city and natural light. Opera Contemporary was chosen for the sleeping area, with pieces selected for their tailored character and scope for customisation.
The master bedroom is centred on the Dorothy bed: a 350 cm wide upholstered headboard in green bouclé on polished brass feet, framing two bedside tables and a 200 × 200 cm mattress. At its foot stands the Fritz bench with capitonné upholstery and brass base; beside it, the Sophie swivel armchair with matching pouf. The Kathy sofa, with curved lines in grey fabric on a polished brass base, and the New Brian coffee table with Arabescato Vagli marble top and brass inserts complete a sitting corner within the room.
The project illustrates Italian furniture for luxury residential projects in South-East Asia: a bedroom scheme where the bed becomes an architectural element and every piece — bench, armchair, sofa, table — shares the same brass and marble vocabulary.
