Living Area Furniture for a Lagoon Villa in Doha

For a luxury villa on the lagoon in western Doha, Qatar, the studio S12 Interiors selected Opera Contemporary furniture for the entire living area: main living room, dining room for twelve and entrance hall.

The main room is arranged in the majlis tradition, with sofas and armchairs from the Cosmo collection matched by fabric colour and piping: armchairs in teal that echo the sea the villa overlooks, the same tone repeated on the sofas’ contrasting profiles. At the centre stand three Cyrano coffee tables in bronzed mirror and marble, with Gabriel and Brian side tables beside the seats. The dining area is dominated by the custom-made Oscar table, whose Calacatta marble top is split in two perfectly matched halves, surrounded by Louise chairs in sand-coloured fabric. In the entrance, a Gabriel console in brushed brass and matching marble sets the tone.

The designer’s feedback on availability, order speed and after-delivery support is part of what makes this project a useful reference for Italian furniture for luxury residential projects in the Gulf, where majlis layouts call for seating systems that can be coordinated across large rooms.
