SEPP Alpine Boutique Hotel – Borzalino Furniture for the Austrian Alps

Born from a chance encounter at Milan's Salone del Mobile, the collaboration on SEPP Alpine Boutique Hotel brought together Italian craftsmanship and the rugged beauty of the Austrian Alps. Nestled in Maria Alm, the project reinterprets alpine identity through a contemporary lens, where natural materials and mountain heritage merge with a thoroughly modern approach to high-altitude living.

Developed in collaboration with Interiorcheck, the interior concept rests on a simple yet powerful idea: true luxury lies in the freedom to celebrate life together, in spaces designed for warmth, gathering, and connection. Borzalino's contribution spans standard, customised, and fully bespoke pieces, reflecting the versatility required by a hospitality project rooted in both tradition and innovation.

The Diva collection takes centre stage in both standard and custom configurations, joined by the Diva stool for a cohesive seating language throughout common areas. The Sigmund and Joe pieces add further character, while the Status Quo custom design introduces a distinctive sculptural presence. Four fully bespoke beds complete the guest room scheme, tailored specifically to the hotel's alpine identity and spatial requirements.

The result is an interior where Italian design sensibility embraces alpine authenticity, creating an environment that feels at once contemporary, welcoming, and deeply connected to its mountain setting — a true celebration of life lived together.
