New Quadro is a modular system based on a 40 cm module, assembled with side and top frames. The composition shown here is the one presented in the New Quadro Collection catalogue, seven modules high and six wide.
Each square can hold books, objects or collections, giving the wall a rhythmic, gallery-like order. Leather panels are available in Tabacco, Toupe and Crema tones. Other compositions of the system can be designed on request for specific walls. The design is by Luciano Colombo.
NEW QUADRO Modular Bookcase
100% Made in Italy
The Annibale Colombo New Quadro bookcase turns a wall into an architectural composition. Square zebrano modules are framed by slim bronzed brass profiles and crowned by a projecting cornice. A central pyramid-shaped element breaks the grid and becomes the focal point of the whole piece. The modules combine solid wood with ultra-light balanced plywood, keeping the structure stable. One of the most distinctive Italian bookcases for libraries and studies.
