This series of coffee tables, featuring distinctive irregular tops with a convex edge, takes its name from a sea dotted with fabulous islands, composed of safe harbors and bays where precious marbles and woods have been traded for centuries. In Egeo, the placement of each element is meant to reach a meditative state and a contemplation of Nature, as if Zen philosophy had been applied to furniture design. Each material and form is given a special place, in a collective effort toward tranquility and harmony. Nature is represented from a minimalist perspective, yet with a mutable and distinctive character. Egeo is an archipelago of possibilities.
