Laki is almost an “objet trouvé,” born from a clever idea: combining a steel tray and a tubular frame to create a very lightweight butler stand that can be used freely throughout the home. The shape of the structure allows for maximum versatility, making it easy to place next to the sofa for added comfort. A leather disk, like a large coaster, softens the contact between objects and the metal surface. At the base, along the crescent-shaped bottom, a spiral-wrapped leather string cushions the structure’s contact with the floor and protects both.
