Designed by Gino Carollo for Ronda Design, the PIVOT Floor Lamp is an open frame of painted metal in which the four uprights and the horizontal trays read as one continuous linear cage. The LED plate is recessed under the ceramic top shelf and directed downwards onto the frosted glass tier, which diffuses a soft, glare-free glow at reading height while the lower metal shelves stay in shadow. Because the fixture is as much a storage piece as a light, it works beside a sofa or armchair, in a hallway or as a bedside tower, and it is also offered with a painted metal top for a fully monolithic look.
