LAPILLA belongs to the Ronda Design magnetic system and is therefore designed to be applied to metal panels only, where powerful magnets hold the shade, the cable clips and the small tray-shaped base in place without a single hole in the wall. The tray doubles as a micro shelf for a watch or a pair of glasses, while a discreet pull switch under the shade turns the light on. The integrated LED emits a warm 3000 K glow and the cone directs it downwards for reading, with a soft halo washing the panel behind. Power comes from the domestic 220 V mains through a Type L plug, so no recessed wiring is required. Ideal beside a bed, in an entrance hall or above a home-office desk.
