Malizia by Esperia is one of the most theatrical and conceptually powerful pieces of the Quasars collection, created in the late 1960s through the artistic collaboration with Angelo Brotto. Inspired by a period fascinated with space exploration and cosmic symbolism, these luminous sculptures were conceived as a dialogue between lighting design and artistic expression.

The composition presents a geometric wall panel supporting sculptural Murano glass elements framed by refined brass castings. The design evokes symbolic and almost surreal imagery, creating a strong visual narrative within the architectural space. The interplay of light filtered through the glass enhances depth, contrast and dramatic presence.

First introduced at Euroluce during Salone del Mobile, the Quasars collection became a global symbol of Esperia’s artistic identity. Today, Malizia is reissued strictly according to Angelo Brotto’s original drawings, preserving the same artisanal mastery and long-standing collaboration with historic Murano glassworks such as Venini and Moretti.
