What makes Mediterraneo unusual is how the sofa meets the floor: slim metal supports, entirely covered in leather, lift the seat just enough to make a substantial composition look light. The base itself is an MDF panel wrapped in leather, so the transition from upholstery to structure never breaks the material language.
Inside, the wooden frame is padded with polyurethane foam, dacron layers and fine nylon-fibre velvet, the monobloc seat uses differentiated-density foam and the back cushions are filled with recycled PET with removable covers. The integrated side table in wild ash turns one of the modules into a working surface for a lamp or a book. Assembled in Cabiate, in Brianza, where the leather wrapping of base and supports is still a hand operation. Decorative cushions shown are not included.

Leather-covered metal supports carry the whole composition. A luxury Italian modular sofa built on material contrast. Each module can be ordered with or without the integrated table, and the leather-wrapped supports are finished by hand in Brianza.
