Asymmetry is the point. Where most rectangular tables repeat the same support twice, Stelvio sets a warm, tactile ribbed volume against a smooth lacquered plane, so the table reads differently depending on which side of the room you enter from. Both legs are built on curved wood, a technique that lets the profile stay clean without a visible frame.
The polished marble surface is cut from natural stone and each slab is selected individually, which is why the veining shown will never be exactly reproduced. The matt lacquered under-top keeps the edge visually thin and lets the stone read as the only real mass in the composition. Produced in Cabiate, in Brianza, where wood curving, lacquering and marble finishing happen within the same workshop.

Stelvio by MC Meroni&Colzani pairs two deliberately different legs under one softly contoured top: a ribbed canaletto walnut leg on one side, a matt storm grey lacquered leg on the other. Above them, a Calacatta Gold marble top in polished finish invites the eye and the hand, its warm veining picking up the walnut and cooling into the grey under-top. The result is a luxury Italian dining table that balances two design languages in a single piece. Both legs are built on curved wood and can also be specified wrapped in saddle leather.
