Painted metal shelves and lacquered wood uprights are held together by magnets alone, so the LIBERA ROUND Wide Bookcase goes up without visible screws or brackets and can be recomposed as needs evolve. Staying below 150 cm in height, this configuration is conceived to be used freestanding in the middle of a room, where its two-tone green volumes read equally well from both sides. Full arches, ovals and half-cylinders alternate along the width to frame books, ceramics and objects in ever-changing proportions. Assembled and hand-finished at the Ronda Design factory in Zanè, Veneto, it is at home in living rooms, open-plan lofts, studies and hospitality lounges.
