Designed by Studio 28 for Ronda Design, the MIRA Desk keeps the working surface completely clear by moving storage above and below the plane of the top: the elevated shelf lifts pens, a lamp or a small tray to eye level, while the drawer is shaped as a shallow round basin that closes flush with the ceramic and vanishes under its lid. Flat metal straps cross diagonally beneath the top and brace the four slender rods without a floor-level stretcher, leaving the leg room entirely free. The ceramic top is cut to a soft oval and mounted on a painted metal frame hand-finished in Zanè, Veneto. A painted metal top version is produced under a separate code, and the desk shares its structure with the matching MIRA vanity table.
