CRAVE is engineered around a folded metal top of only 33 mm section, stiffened internally so that a 240 cm span stays perfectly flat without a visible apron. The legs are pressed sheet elements standing at the four corners of the top, just inside its edge, and their softly radiused outer faces let the whole volume read as one continuous line. The aged liquid varnished finish is applied and burnished by hand, meaning the depth of tone is built up in layers rather than sprayed on, and it is offered in pewter, bronze and aged copper. Custom lengths from 160 to 280 cm are produced to order, making CRAVE equally suited to residential dining rooms, private members clubs and boardrooms.
