Designed by Studio 28 for Ronda Design, the MEXA Dining Table is built around a ceramic slab bonded to a sheet of tempered glass: the technique combines the heat, scratch and stain resistance of the ceramic surface with the structural strength a span of this length requires, and lets the mitred perimeter read as a single thin line. Each base is a painted metal profile folded back on itself in an open, faceted hexagonal outline, so the table rests on two sculptural volumes rather than four legs. The same platform is offered in a hexagonal-top version, with ceramic, glass, wood or metal tops and made-to-measure formats for dining rooms, boardrooms and hospitality projects.
