Designed by Gino Carollo for Ronda Design, the NEMESI Highboard is built as a metal-clad case in which every visible surface, including the doors of the lower double compartment, is wrapped in painted sheet metal, the material at the heart of the factory's production. All four doors open with a push-pull mechanism, so no handle interrupts the flat planes, while the internal shelves are made of clear glass to let the LED light travel down through the upper compartment. The strip lighting is dimmed and switched by the remote control supplied with this version, and the cabinet rests on two angled metal blades that lift the volume off the floor and read as a shadow line under the body. The same case is available without lighting or with vertical-grain wood veneer doors, and works equally well as a bar cabinet, a display case for glassware or a hallway storage piece.
