The cover is non-removable and hand tailored as a single wrapped panel, its only interruption the piped seam that runs round the top edge and reinforces the most exposed part of the drum. The slim metal rods are set well inside the circumference, so the base almost disappears when the pouf is seen from across a room. Cover ranges are shared with the GHANTA armchair and dining chair - ecoleather, either of the two fabric ranges, leather or the customer's own textile subject to technical approval - so the pieces can be ordered in the same cloth or deliberately contrasted. The generously sized flat top makes it as useful as a footstool or, with a tray, a low surface as it is an extra seat.
