The barrel-shaped top of the JUPE Dining Table is made of large-format ceramic bonded to a glass backing, a construction that gives the slab its slim profile together with high resistance to heat, scratches and staining. Beneath it, the pedestal is shaped from painted metal and finished by hand, so the cloudy, mottled patina and the rippling lower edge belong to that piece alone. Because the support is entirely central, the perimeter stays completely free and up to ten guests can be seated without a single leg in the way.
