Designed by Gino Carollo, the MANTRA Pouf translates the origami-like language of the MANTRA armchairs into a single low volume: the cover is cut into wedge-shaped panels, stitched together at the crown and stretched over graduated padding so that each segment swells with a different depth. The non-removable upholstery is worked entirely by hand in the factory upholstery workshop, while the four painted metal rods are welded and finished in Zanè, Veneto, splaying outwards to keep the piece stable without visual weight. Its rounded, petal-like outline lets several poufs be arranged loosely around a coffee table, making it a versatile choice for residential lounges, hotel lobbies and showroom seating areas.
