Francesco Molon Suites for Boutique Hotel Stresa on Lake Maggiore
Boutique Hotel Stresa is a historic lakeside villa that has welcomed guests since 1771 and is the first new 5-star hotel on Lake Maggiore in more than 40 years. The suites are furnished with handcrafted pieces by Francesco Molon, the Italian family of furniture designers.
The villa was once a meeting place for figures such as Alessandro Manzoni and Camillo Benso di Cavour, and it has been carefully restored to combine its heritage with contemporary refinement. Inside, the suites are designed in a timeless register: the photographs show upholstered beds with tall headboards, sofas, armchairs and bar stools set against linear wall panels, large windows and lake-facing terraces.
