Francesco Molon Bespoke Furniture for Orient Express Venezia
Overlooking the Grand Canal, Orient Express Venezia brings the 15th-century Palazzo Donà Giovannelli back to life, where Gothic heritage meets refined modernity. The restoration was led by architect Aline Asmar d’Amman, and the bespoke furniture was handcrafted by Francesco Molon.
The palazzo offers scenic salons and signature suites. Their atmosphere draws on Venice and the Serenissima through made-to-measure pieces in fine woods, burnished brass and precious details. The photographs show salons under Gothic vaulted and coffered ceilings with upholstered sofas, low consoles and side tables, arched mirrors framed in dark wood, and bedrooms with cabinetry, an integrated bar cabinet and lounge seating.
For hotel developers and FF&E consultants sourcing Italian furniture for hospitality projects, Orient Express Venezia shows bespoke Italian craftsmanship built around the architecture of a protected Venetian palazzo.
