Francesco Molon Conference Hall for Dom Druzhby Narodov in Izhevsk

Dom Druzhby Narodov, the House of Friendship of Peoples in Izhevsk, opened in 2008 with the support of Alexander Volkov, then President of Udmurtia. It was founded to promote the cultural and educational development of the citizens of the republic, and its interiors are furnished by Francesco Molon.

Besides its cultural and educational departments, the building hosts national exhibitions, competitions and conferences. Its key space is the custom conference hall with 94 modular positions and complete technical wiring. The photographs show the white lacquered conference table with integrated microphones, classic chairs upholstered in blue damask, a speaker's rostrum with gilded mouldings and a hall set with rows of carved chairs.

For contractors and FF&E teams specifying Italian furniture for institutional projects, the project shows classic Italian furniture combined with the cabling and modular layout of a working conference venue.
