The Historical Archive Reissues faithfully reproduce ceramics that Aldo Londi created between the 1950s and the 1970s. The originals are kept today in the Bitossi Archive in Montelupo Fiorentino. Each reissue carries the inventory number of the original piece on its base, together with the historic brand name Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli.

As art director, Londi opened a season of research into glazes and materials at Bitossi. The copper glaze of this set shows that love for experiment very clearly. On a desk, a coffee table or a bookcase, the two pieces work as small objects of art. They also make an elegant gift for a lover of mid-century design.
