The Rimini Blu collection takes its name from the Romagna Riviera, a favourite destination of international tourism. Its ceramics are marked by graphic motifs stamped into the surface texture. Quick touches of colour lie beneath the blue glaze, and the crystalline layer makes them luminous. The cats are among the most loved subjects of the series.

Aldo Londi, painter, sculptor and ceramist, worked with Bitossi for more than fifty years. He reduced every animal to a few essential lines, then enriched it with decoration. Bitossi Ceramiche still makes the collection in Montelupo Fiorentino, where it was founded in 1921. Combine this cat with the long cat or the sitting cat for a small feline group.
