Presented in 2019, the Colonne collection features six sculptures made of stacked elements: cylinders of different sizes and diameters that form fragmented columns. They are slip cast in white clay and coated with glossy, matte, craquelé or lava-effect glazes. The palette includes pastel and neutral tones such as white, peach pink, ochre, forest green, black and lava black.
David Lopez Quincoces and Fanny Bauer Grung lead Quincoces-Dragò & Partners, a Milan-based architecture and design studio. Their essential style mixes clean lines, neutral colours and a balance of contemporary and vintage, and in 2023 they were selected for the AD100 list of Architectural Digest. Its dark tones stand out against light walls and pair well with the paler Colonne pieces.

100% Made in Italy
The Bitossi Ceramiche COLONNE bud vase by Quincoces-Dragò stacks three cylinders into a slender, broken column. A grooved base with deep vertical flutes supports a smooth middle drum and a narrow cylinder on top. Each element is slightly shifted, so the column seems to be in motion. The top element is glazed in warm amber ochre, above a glossy black cylinder and a fluted black base. It is a sculptural designer vase for one flower or a dry branch, made in Tuscany.
