The Historical Archive Reissues faithfully reproduce ceramics that Aldo Londi created between the 1950s and the 1970s. The originals are kept today in the Bitossi Archive in Montelupo Fiorentino. Each reissue carries the inventory number of the original piece on its base, together with the historic brand name Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli.
Londi was a painter, a sculptor and above all a ceramist, and this plate shows his talent as a draughtsman. Bitossi Ceramiche still makes his designs in the Tuscan town where the company was founded in 1921. The fish motif suits a kitchen, a dining room or a house by the sea. It is a luxury designer piece for a shelf, a sideboard or a display cabinet.

100% Made in Italy
This Bitossi Ceramiche ARCHIVIO STORICO decorative plate reissues a 1957 design by Aldo Londi. It is a long, flat panel with softly rounded corners, like a small ceramic frieze. Stylised fish swim across a matte white ground, drawn with incised lines. They are coloured in grey-blue, brown, black and pale green, and overlap in a playful rhythm. It can be displayed on a shelf or a console. It is produced in a limited edition of 199 pieces.
