Aldo Londi designed this slab in 1985. The Historical Archive Reissues, launched in 2003, bring back ceramics from the Bitossi Archive in Montelupo Fiorentino. Each piece carries the inventory number of the original and the historic brand name Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli on its base.
Londi was a painter, a sculptor and above all a ceramist, and he worked with Bitossi for more than fifty years. The company still makes his designs in the Tuscan town where it was founded in 1921. Placed upright on a shelf or a console, the white slab plays with light throughout the day. It suits minimal interiors and pairs well with the other decorative plates of the collection.

100% Made in Italy
This Bitossi Ceramiche ARCHIVIO STORICO decorative plate reissues a 1985 design by Aldo Londi. It is a rectangular slab whose surface ripples in deep, soft waves, like draped cloth or sand shaped by the wind. The folds were created by cutting the clay with a nylon thread. A glossy white crystalline glaze collects in the hollows and highlights every curve. It is a sculptural luxury designer piece, produced in a limited edition of only 99 pieces.
