The Historical Archive Reissues faithfully reproduce ceramics that Aldo Londi designed for Bitossi; the collection was launched in 2003. The originals are kept today in the Bitossi Archive in Montelupo Fiorentino. Each reissue carries the inventory number of the original piece on its base, together with the historic brand name Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli.
Londi was a painter, a sculptor and above all a ceramist, and he guided the artistic direction of Bitossi for decades. With the decorative plates of 1985 he explored texture as the true subject of the work. The wisteria tone softens the strong relief and suits both classic and contemporary interiors. Display it on a console, a coffee table or a shelf, alone or with other Archive pieces.

100% Made in Italy
The Bitossi Ceramiche ARCHIVIO STORICO decorative plate brings back a 1985 design by Aldo Londi. The slab is shaped by soft, wavy ridges that rise from the surface like frozen ripples. They were drawn into the clay with a nylon wire, so every fold has its own rhythm. A glossy wisteria crystalline glaze gives the piece a soft, delicate tone that suits classic and contemporary interiors. Made in a limited edition of 99 pieces, it is a refined collector's object.
