Finish: Rimini Blu crystalline blue glaze with stamped decoration
Rimini Blu is named after the Romagna Riviera, a destination with a long tradition of international tourism. The collection is known for its graphic motifs stamped into the surface texture. Beneath the blue glaze, quick touches of colour bring the pattern to life. The crystalline layer gives the surface a luminous, marine depth.
The series includes a second, more compact elephant with a boxy body. Aldo Londi collaborated with Bitossi for more than fifty years, and his animals remain among its best-known icons. Bitossi Ceramiche still makes them in Montelupo Fiorentino, where it was founded in 1921. The two elephants look delightful side by side.

100% Made in Italy
The Bitossi Ceramiche RIMINI BLU elephant figurine has a rounded, domed body that gives it a gentle, friendly look. The trunk curls forward and down, while the ears fold softly against the head. Arches, dots and stamped signs follow the curve of the back in regular bands. A vibrant blue crystalline glaze makes them shine like reflections on the sea. Aldo Londi designed it for Rimini Blu, made since 1959. It is a designer sculpture for a console, a shelf or a child's room.
