Rimini Blu takes its name from the Romagna Riviera, a destination with a strong international appeal. The collection is defined by graphic motifs stamped into the surface texture. Quick touches of colour lie beneath the blue glaze, and the crystalline layer makes them glow. The lion shows how rich this decoration can be on a sculptural form.

Painter, sculptor and ceramist, Aldo Londi collaborated with Bitossi for more than fifty years. Bitossi Ceramiche still makes his animals in Montelupo Fiorentino, where the company was founded in 1921. Together with the bull and the ram, the lion forms a small, colourful Rimini Blu menagerie.
