Aldo Londi designed the Rimini Blu collection, produced without interruption since 1959. Its name recalls the Romagna Riviera and its international appeal. Quick touches of colour sit beneath the blue glaze, and the crystalline layer makes them luminous. The stamped decoration follows the shape of each animal like a second skin.

The long cat is also part of Rimini Blu Le Miniature, the edition that marks seventy years of stamp engraving at Bitossi. The company has been based in Montelupo Fiorentino since 1921. On a bookcase or a mantelpiece, this cat pairs well with the other felines of the series.
