The name Rimini Blu pays homage to the Romagna Riviera, a destination loved by international tourists. The collection is characterised by graphic motifs stamped into the surface texture. Quick touches of colour lie beneath the blue glaze, and the crystalline layer makes them luminous. The cats are among the most popular subjects of the series.

Aldo Londi, painter, sculptor and ceramist, collaborated with Bitossi for more than fifty years. His animals mix simple volumes with a rich, rhythmic decoration. Bitossi Ceramiche still makes them in Montelupo Fiorentino, where it was founded in 1921. The sitting cat pairs well with the long cat and the Egyptian cat.
