Simbolik is the first collection Karim Rashid created for Bitossi Ceramiche, launched in 2006 and still produced in a limited edition. Totems, vases and bowls make up this series of signs and symbols. Their magnetic, vibrant colours range from fuchsia to pistachio green and from canary yellow to silver. Each piece is slip cast in white clay. Every geometric and graphic element is repeated endlessly, in form and decoration alike, in the designer's distinctive style.
Born in Egypt, Karim Rashid lives and works in New York and is known for his democratic approach to design. An eclectic figure, he moves between interiors, fashion, furniture, art and music. His works are part of many permanent collections and are exhibited in galleries worldwide. Bitossi Ceramiche makes the collection in Montelupo Fiorentino, where the company was founded in 1921. With its metallic reflections, this totem suits both minimal interiors and more eclectic settings.

100% Made in Italy
The Bitossi Ceramiche SIMBOLIK five-piece totem by Karim Rashid plays with a sober palette of silver, white and black. A silver bone-shaped element sits on top of a white spindle. In the middle, a solid black cross marks the heart of the composition. A silver hourglass and a white disc complete the base. The glossy glaze and the metallic tones catch the light from every angle. It is a luxury designer sculpture in a limited edition of 199 pieces. Its restrained colours make it an elegant accent for a study or a living room.
