The Historical Archive Reissues faithfully reproduce ceramics that Aldo Londi created between the 1950s and the 1970s. The originals are kept today in the Bitossi Archive in Montelupo Fiorentino. Each reissue carries the inventory number of the original piece on its base, together with the historic brand name Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli.
Painter, sculptor and above all ceramist, Londi liked to transform everyday forms into decorative objects. Bitossi Ceramiche still makes his designs in Montelupo Fiorentino, where the company was founded in 1921. At almost half a metre high, this vase has a strong vertical presence. It looks striking on the floor, on a sideboard or next to a fireplace.

100% Made in Italy
The Bitossi Ceramiche ARCHIVIO STORICO pitcher vase reissues a 1957 design by Aldo Londi. Its tall, slim cylinder ends in a ring-shaped handle with a small spout, like a stylised jug. The body is wrapped in textured terracotta bands with a fine grid of incisions. They alternate with smooth stripes of deep royal blue glaze. The same blue covers the top and the handle, giving the piece a clear, bold outline. It is produced in a limited edition of 199 pieces.
