Simbolik is the first collection Karim Rashid created for Bitossi Ceramiche, launched in 2006 and still produced in a limited edition. Totems, vases and bowls make up this series of signs and symbols. Their magnetic, vibrant colours range from fuchsia to pistachio green and from canary yellow to silver. Each piece is slip cast in white clay. Every geometric and graphic element is repeated endlessly, in form and decoration alike, in the designer's distinctive style.
Born in Egypt, Karim Rashid lives and works in New York and is known for his democratic approach to design. An eclectic figure, he moves between interiors, fashion, furniture, art and music. His works are part of many permanent collections and are exhibited in galleries worldwide. Bitossi Ceramiche makes the collection in Montelupo Fiorentino, where the company was founded in 1921. On a console or a bedside table, the round vase adds colour with a light footprint.

100% Made in Italy
The Bitossi Ceramiche SIMBOLIK round vase by Karim Rashid is a slim composition of three stacked elements in pure geometric shapes. A wide white disc forms the round mouth at the top. Below it, a tapered raspberry red cone descends towards a yellow disc. The base ends in a lime green cone, a light and lively touch. The glossy glaze keeps each colour sharp and clean. It is a designer vase with a sculptural presence, produced in a limited edition of 199 pieces.
