The Bitossi Ceramiche PIERRE MARIE AGIN teapot is a decorative piece full of theatrical detail. A tall arched handle rises above a domed lid with a small finial. The rounded body is wrapped in a ribbed band. Curled feet lift the whole piece like a small piece of furniture. The glossy smoky green glaze gives it a deep, precious tone. Its ornaments echo details found in the Bitossi Archive. It is a luxury home accessory for a sideboard, a dresser or a display cabinet.
