The Historical Archive Reissues faithfully reproduce ceramics that Aldo Londi created between the 1950s and the 1970s. The originals are kept today in the Bitossi Archive in Montelupo Fiorentino. Each reissue carries the inventory number of the original piece on its base, together with the historic brand name Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli.
Londi worked with Bitossi for more than fifty years, first as art director and later as a collaborator. The company still makes his designs in Montelupo Fiorentino, where it was founded in 1921. Designed for tobacco and pipes, the box also works as a jar for tea, coffee or small treasures. It is a refined gift for a study or a gentleman's desk.

100% Made in Italy
The Bitossi Ceramiche ARCHIVIO STORICO tobacco and pipe box reissues a 1960 design by Aldo Londi. Its round body is shaped in deep horizontal ribs and flanked by two small pierced handles. A flat brown lid with a round knob closes the jar. The ribs are glazed in glossy burnt orange, while the base and lid stay in rough brown clay. The incised decoration gives the piece a warm, tactile character. It is produced in a limited edition of 199 pieces.
