Material: ceramic

Edition: limited edition of 199 pieces
This vase is decorated with the wax technique, in clearly separated geometric sections. The Historical Archive Reissues faithfully reproduce ceramics that Aldo Londi created between the 1950s and the 1970s. Each piece carries the inventory number of the original and the historic brand name Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli on its base.
Painter, sculptor and above all ceramist, Londi worked with Bitossi for over fifty years. The company still makes his designs in Montelupo Fiorentino, the Tuscan town where it was founded in 1921. At 45 cm high, this vase stands well on a sideboard or on the floor. It pairs nicely with the other blue pieces of the Archive.

100% Made in Italy
This Bitossi Ceramiche ARCHIVIO STORICO vase reissues a 1960 design by Aldo Londi. The tall cylindrical body ends in a conical shoulder and a narrow neck, like a bottle. It is decorated with the wax technique in geometric sections. Bands of blue squares framed in white alternate with wide black stripes. The result is a rhythmic, almost textile pattern with a strong graphic presence. It is a luxury designer vase, produced in a limited edition of 199 pieces.
