The Historical Archive Reissues, launched in 2003, faithfully reproduce ceramics that Aldo Londi created between the 1950s and the 1970s. The originals are kept today in the Bitossi Archive in Montelupo Fiorentino. Each reissue carries the inventory number of the original and the historic brand name Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli on its base.
Londi was a painter, a sculptor and above all a ceramist. As art director, he opened a season of research and experimentation at Bitossi in the 1950s. At 46 cm, this vase has a strong presence on a sideboard or on the floor beside a bookcase. It is a luxury designer vase that works well even without flowers.

100% Made in Italy
This Bitossi Ceramiche ARCHIVIO STORICO vase reissues a 1963 design by Aldo Londi with the Capogrossi decoration. The tall, fish-like body swells at the top and narrows towards a flared foot. A glossy light-blue crystalline glaze covers the surface with deep, luminous tones. On one side, a cascade of small coloured sections stands out in red, white, yellow and green. The play between the blue depth and the bright fragments gives the vase a painterly character. It is made in a limited edition of 199 pieces.
