The Historical Archive Reissues, launched in 2003, faithfully reproduce ceramics that Aldo Londi created between the 1950s and the 1970s. The originals are kept today in the Bitossi Archive in Montelupo Fiorentino. Each reissue carries the inventory number of the original and the historic brand name Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli on its base.
Londi was a painter, a sculptor and above all a ceramist. For more than fifty years he shaped the style of Bitossi, first as art director and then as a collaborator. At 44 cm, this vase is a luxury designer piece for a sideboard, a hall table or the floor. Its warm palette matches wood, leather and natural fabrics.

100% Made in Italy
This Bitossi Ceramiche ARCHIVIO STORICO vase reissues a 1961 design by Aldo Londi. Its tall cylindrical body rises from a slightly narrower foot to a short collar. A checkered pattern of incised diamonds wraps around the surface like a harlequin costume. The diamonds are coloured in matte orange, ochre yellow, brown and white, on a speckled light ground. Warm and lively, the decoration keeps its character from every angle. It is a rare piece, produced in a limited edition of 149 pieces.
