The Historical Archive Reissues faithfully reproduce ceramics that Aldo Londi created between the 1950s and the 1970s. The originals are kept today in the Bitossi Archive in Montelupo Fiorentino. Each reissue carries the inventory number of the original piece on its base, together with the historic brand name Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli.
Londi was a painter, a sculptor and above all a ceramist, and his research shaped the style of Bitossi for decades. The company still makes his designs in Montelupo Fiorentino, where it was founded in 1921. Thanks to its narrow silhouette, this vase fits on a windowsill or a small shelf. It is ideal for a single stem, or in a group with other slim vases.

100% Made in Italy
This Bitossi Ceramiche ARCHIVIO STORICO vase reissues a 1960 design by Aldo Londi. Its slim cylinder is crowned by a small flat collar. A Greek-key motif runs around the body in long vertical loops outlined in black. The loops alternate glossy turquoise and speckled white, and the turquoise fills the lower band. The drawing is clean and essential, with a surprisingly contemporary feel. It is a slender designer vase, produced in a limited edition of 199 pieces.
