The Historical Archive Reissues faithfully reproduce ceramics that Aldo Londi created between the 1950s and the 1970s. The originals are kept today in the Bitossi Archive in Montelupo Fiorentino. Each reissue carries the inventory number of the original piece on its base, together with the historic brand name Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli.
Londi was a painter, a sculptor and above all a ceramist, and here he plays freely with form. The pierced neck gives the vase a lightness that recalls a stylised figure. At 47 cm high, it suits a hallway, a sideboard or a corner next to a window. Its earthy palette fits rustic and Mediterranean interiors alike.

100% Made in Italy
This Bitossi Ceramiche ARCHIVIO STORICO vase reissues a 1957 design by Aldo Londi. Its tall conical body narrows towards the top, where an open slot turns the neck into a handle. The upper part is covered in a matte olive-green glaze. Below, on a warm terracotta ground, small incised keys glazed in glossy red form a regular pattern. Thin horizontal lines run behind them like the grain of a fabric. It is a slender designer vase, produced in a limited edition of 199 pieces.
