The Historical Archive Reissues faithfully reproduce ceramics that Aldo Londi created between the 1950s and the 1970s. This vase dates from 1959, the same year the Rimini Blu collection was born. Each reissue carries the inventory number of the original piece on its base, together with the historic brand name Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli.
Londi was a painter, a sculptor and above all a ceramist, with a constant appetite for research. Bitossi Ceramiche still makes his designs in Montelupo Fiorentino, where the company was founded in 1921. The muted tones of this vase fit well in a calm, natural interior. It is perfect for a single dry branch, or next to other slim Archive vases.

100% Made in Italy
This Bitossi Ceramiche ARCHIVIO STORICO vase reissues a 1959 design by Aldo Londi. It is a tall, narrow cylinder with a small rounded neck and a light rim. Rows of incised triangles cover the whole body, pointing up and down in turn. They are coloured in matte green, sage, sand and black, with fine lines scratched into the clay. The pattern recalls a woven textile or a mosaic floor. It is a slender designer vase, produced in a limited edition of 199 pieces.
