Componibile means modular in Italian, a name that reflects the play of simple geometric parts in this series. The Historical Archive Reissues, launched in 2003, bring back ceramics that Aldo Londi created between the 1950s and the 1970s. Each piece carries the inventory number of the original and the historic brand name Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli on its base.
Londi was a painter, a sculptor and above all a ceramist, and he followed the evolution of taste for more than fifty years. Bitossi Ceramiche still makes his designs in Montelupo Fiorentino, where the company was founded in 1921. The vase works as a sculptural accent on a desk, a shelf or a console. It is striking against a white or dark wall.

100% Made in Italy
The Bitossi Ceramiche ARCHIVIO STORICO Componibile series vase reissues a 1971 design by Aldo Londi. A large flat disc with a round opening sits on top of a slender cone. The two pure geometric volumes meet at a single point, like a small abstract sculpture. The whole piece is covered in a warm orange glaze that stresses its clean lines. It is a bold example of the design language of the early 1970s. This second edition is limited to 299 pieces.
