Kasu is a new 2026 collection, designed by Bernard Dubois for PIN–UP HOME in collaboration with Bitossi Ceramiche. It brings the rigour of industrial materials into dialogue with the timeless presence of ancient vessels. Each form is slip cast in white clay and seems both unearthed and refined, like an artefact from an unknown civilisation.
Bernard Dubois is a Belgian architect based in Brussels, whose work combines analytical rigour with visual sensitivity. He studied the materials, forms and textures kept in the Archivio Museo Bitossi in Montelupo Fiorentino. There he found in engraving a contemporary design tool, combined with patinated colours that echo an ancient language. Placed at the end of a console or on a low cabinet, it becomes a true focal point. Pair it with the other Kasu vases for a small museum-like display.

100% Made in Italy
The Bitossi Ceramiche KASU vase by Bernard Dubois is a studded cylinder with an unexpected detail. A thick round disc protrudes from one side, like the hub of an ancient mechanism. The whole body is covered in raised studs that create a rich play of light and shadow. The matte oxidised brown finish recalls patinated metal or old bronze. It is a designer vase with a strong archaeological character, slip cast in white clay in Tuscany. Its asymmetric profile changes from every angle.
