Kasu is a new 2026 collection, designed by Bernard Dubois for PIN–UP HOME in collaboration with Bitossi Ceramiche. It brings the rigour of industrial materials into dialogue with the timeless presence of ancient vessels. Each form is slip cast in white clay and seems both unearthed and refined, like an artefact from an unknown civilisation.
Bernard Dubois is a Belgian architect based in Brussels, whose work combines analytical rigour with visual sensitivity. He studied the materials, forms and textures kept in the Archivio Museo Bitossi in Montelupo Fiorentino. There he found in engraving a contemporary design tool, combined with patinated colours that echo an ancient language. The tapered profile gives this vase a monumental feel on a console or a sideboard. It also works well with dried branches.

100% Made in Italy
The Bitossi Ceramiche KASU vase by Bernard Dubois looks like an ancient artefact reshaped with contemporary precision. Its square body tapers gently from a wide base towards the top. A band of raised studs frames the opening like a crown of rivets. Below, a fine engraved texture covers the faces. The matte oxidised brown finish gives the surface a patinated, almost bronze look. It is a designer vase with an archaic, sculptural character, slip cast in white clay in Tuscany.
