Kasu is a new 2026 collection, designed by Bernard Dubois for PIN–UP HOME in collaboration with Bitossi Ceramiche. It brings the rigour of industrial materials into dialogue with the timeless presence of ancient vessels. Each form is slip cast in white clay and seems both unearthed and refined, like an artefact from an unknown civilisation.
Bernard Dubois is a Belgian architect based in Brussels, whose work combines analytical rigour with visual sensitivity. He studied the materials, forms and textures kept in the Archivio Museo Bitossi in Montelupo Fiorentino. There he found in engraving a contemporary design tool, combined with patinated colours that echo an ancient language. Its triangular plan fits neatly into a corner or at the end of a shelf. Together with the other Kasu vases, it forms a coherent family of shapes.

100% Made in Italy
The Bitossi Ceramiche KASU vase by Bernard Dubois is a triangular prism with the gravity of an ancient relic. Two bands of raised studs frame the top and the bottom, like metal reinforcements. Between them, a fine engraved texture covers the three faces. The matte oxidised brown finish gives the piece a patinated, bronze-like depth. It is a designer vase with a rigorous, archaic geometry, slip cast in white clay in Tuscany. The triangular opening makes floral arrangements unusual and graphic.
