The Historical Archive Reissues faithfully reproduce ceramics that Aldo Londi created between the 1950s and the 1970s. The originals are kept today in the Bitossi Archive in Montelupo Fiorentino. Each reissue carries the inventory number of the original piece on its base, together with the historic brand name Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli.

Londi designed the Lava series in 1967. Its volcanic black surface recalls cooled lava and gives the colours an even stronger glow. This vase has the presence of a small sculpture and needs no flowers. Place it on a sideboard or a bookcase, next to other pieces from the Archive or to a modern design object.
